Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze network traffic for security threats using advanced SIEM tools
- Conduct forensic investigations of cyber incidents and prepare detailed incident reports
- Implement and maintain security protocols across classified and unclassified systems
- Collaborate with federal partners to coordinate threat intelligence sharing
- Develop and execute vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Provide cybersecurity training to federal personnel
Qualifications
- Active Secret security clearance (Top Secret preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in network security and threat detection
- Professional certifications (CISSP, CEH, or Security+ required)
- Experience with NIST frameworks and federal compliance standards
- Proficiency in SIEM platforms (Splunk, ArcSight)
- Strong analytical and incident response capabilities
