Responsibilities
- Monitor and respond to cybersecurity threats using advanced SIEM tools
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on federal systems
- Develop incident response plans and coordinate with cross-agency teams
- Analyze network traffic patterns to detect anomalous activities
- Ensure compliance with NIST and FISMA cybersecurity standards
- Document security incidents and prepare executive reports
- Train staff on cybersecurity best practices and protocols
Qualifications
- Active Secret security clearance (required)
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity analysis
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and network security protocols
- CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification preferred
- Familiarity with federal IT security frameworks (NIST, FISMA)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize critical incidents
