Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive cybersecurity assessments of federal systems using NIST frameworks
- Monitor and respond to 24/7 security incidents using SIEM platforms
- Develop and implement zero-trust architecture solutions for classified networks
- Lead penetration testing and vulnerability remediation initiatives
- Collaborate with FBI and DHS on threat intelligence operations
- Maintain compliance with FISMA and CMMC requirements
- Mentor junior security analysts through DHS training programs
Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI security clearance (required)
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in IT security with federal government experience preferred
- CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ certification required
- Expertise in cloud security (AWS/Azure) and network defense
- Proficiency in Python/SQL for security automation
- Ability to obtain DHS Suitability clearance
