Responsibilities
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on federal IT systems
- Implement and monitor security controls for classified and unclassified networks
- Lead incident response coordination during cyber security breaches
- Develop and maintain comprehensive security documentation and compliance reports
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams on threat intelligence analysis
- Train personnel on security protocols and best practices
- Manage security access controls and identity management systems
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and active security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in federal IT security compliance (FISMA, NIST)
- Certification in CISSP, Security+, or CompTIA CySA+
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and network security protocols
- Demonstrated experience with risk assessment methodologies
- Ability to obtain and maintain DHS Suitability Determination
- Strong written/verbal communication skills for reporting to leadership
