Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain advanced cybersecurity protocols for federal networks
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on classified systems
- Lead incident response coordination during security breaches
- Develop and update cybersecurity policies compliant with NIST and FISMA standards
- Mentor junior analysts and coordinate cross-agency security initiatives
- Monitor threat intelligence and proactively address emerging risks
Qualifications
- Active Secret security clearance (Top Secret preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 5+ years experience in federal IT security roles
- Certifications: CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+
- Expertise in network security tools (SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS)
- Knowledge of federal compliance frameworks (FISMA, NIST)
- Experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP) architectures
