Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced cybersecurity protocols for federal systems
- Monitor network traffic for security breaches and suspicious activities
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Develop incident response plans and lead security breach mitigation
- Ensure compliance with federal NIST and FISMA standards
- Collaborate with cross-agency security task forces
- Mentor junior cybersecurity specialists
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years of cybersecurity experience in federal/government sector
- Active CISSP or CEH certification required
- Expertise in threat detection, incident response, and risk assessment
- Knowledge of federal compliance frameworks (NIST, FISMA, CUI)
- Ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret security clearance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
