Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced cybersecurity protocols to protect federal networks and data systems
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on critical infrastructure
- Lead incident response teams during security breaches and cyber-attacks
- Develop comprehensive security policies and compliance frameworks
- Mentor junior cybersecurity professionals and conduct training workshops
- Collaborate with federal partners to share threat intelligence and best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity with federal government clearance
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification required
- Expertise in NIST frameworks, FISMA compliance, and risk assessment methodologies
- Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or C++
- Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and network security protocols
- Ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret security clearance
