As a key member of our IT team, you will ensure the integrity of our federal systems and safeguard sensitive data against evolving cyber threats.
Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain advanced network security protocols and firewalls.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, risk analyses, and penetration testing.
- Monitor security systems and respond to cyber incidents in real-time.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal standards such as NIST, FISMA, and FedRAMP.
- Develop and update incident response plans and disaster recovery procedures.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate security into the software development lifecycle.
- Provide technical guidance and training to junior staff and system administrators.
Qualifications
- Active Top Secret Security Clearance (or ability to obtain).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal information systems security.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical field.
- Certification preferred: CISSP, Security+, or CEH.
- Proficiency with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and forensics software.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VPNs, and secure coding practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical reporting.
