Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret complex federal datasets to support strategic decision-making for national security initiatives
- Develop and maintain automated data pipelines ensuring compliance with federal security standards (NIST/FISMA)
- Create interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau/Power BI for executive stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to standardize data governance frameworks across federal systems
- Conduct statistical analysis and modeling to identify trends and anomalies in large-scale datasets
- Prepare comprehensive reports and briefings for congressional oversight committees
- Ensure all data handling adheres to federal privacy regulations (HIPAA/PII compliance)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in federal data analysis with demonstrated NIST/FISMA compliance knowledge
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas/Numpy), and R for statistical analysis
- Advanced certification in federal security protocols (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CISSP)
- Proven experience with Tableau/Power BI and federal data visualization standards
- Strong understanding of federal procurement and contracting data systems
- Ability to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance (Top Secret/SCI)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
