Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret VA healthcare operations data to identify trends and performance metrics
- Develop automated reporting dashboards using Tableau/Power BI for leadership review
- Ensure compliance with federal data privacy regulations (HIPAA, FISMA) in all deliverables
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements for veteran programs
- Design and maintain SQL databases for secure veteran information management
- Present findings to senior stakeholders through executive briefings and data visualizations
- Implement data quality protocols to maintain integrity of veteran service records
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
- Minimum 3 years experience with federal government data systems
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and relational database management
- Certification in Tableau or Power BI (or equivalent visualization tool)
- Demonstrated experience with healthcare or public sector datasets
- Expertise in statistical analysis tools (R, Python, SAS)
- Active security clearance eligibility or ability to obtain one
