Responsibilities
- Analyze large-scale datasets using SQL, Python, and R to identify trends and patterns for federal programs
- Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau/Power BI for executive stakeholders
- Ensure data integrity and compliance with federal privacy regulations (HIPAA, FERPA)
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to design data-driven solutions for policy implementation
- Present findings to senior leadership through concise visualizations and executive summaries
- Maintain data security protocols and audit trails for sensitive federal information
- Stay current with evolving federal data governance frameworks and reporting standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis with federal government or regulated industries
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and statistical modeling
- Certification in Tableau or Power BI with portfolio of federal projects
- Demonstrated knowledge of federal compliance requirements (e.g., 21st Century IDEA Act)
- Experience with geospatial analysis and visualization tools (e.g., ArcGIS)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance
- Strong communication skills for translating technical insights to non-technical audiences
