Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large-scale federal healthcare datasets using SQL, Python, and SAS
- Develop interactive Tableau dashboards for executive stakeholders
- Validate data integrity and ensure compliance with federal reporting standards
- Collaborate with policy teams to translate findings into actionable recommendations
- Present complex analytical results to senior leadership through concise visualizations
- Document methodologies and maintain audit-ready data workflows
- Support cross-agency initiatives on healthcare access and equity metrics
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Public Health, or related field
- 3+ years analyzing federal/state government datasets (Medicare/Medicaid preferred)
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and at least one statistical tool (Python/R/SAS)
- Experience with Tableau or Power BI for federal reporting visualization
- Familiarity with HIPAA, FERPA, and federal data security protocols
- Ability to obtain and maintain federal background clearance
