Responsibilities
- Analyze complex federal datasets using SQL, Python, and R to identify trends and anomalies
- Develop interactive dashboards and reports for government stakeholders using Tableau/Power BI
- Ensure compliance with federal data security protocols (NIST, FISMA) and privacy regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate data insights into actionable recommendations
- Present findings to senior leadership through concise executive summaries and visualizations
- Maintain data integrity through rigorous quality control and validation processes
- Support continuous improvement of data infrastructure and analytics methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of professional data analysis experience with federal government projects
- Expertise in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and statistical modeling techniques
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, D3.js)
- Familiarity with federal data standards (FIPS, ISO 8000) and compliance frameworks
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to communicate complex findings to non-technical audiences
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain one within 90 days
- Experience with big data platforms (Hadoop, Spark) and cloud services (AWS GovCloud, Azure Government)
