Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large-scale federal datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies
- Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau/Power BI for executive reporting
- Ensure compliance with federal data security protocols (NIST, FISMA) and privacy regulations
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to support border security and disaster response initiatives
- Document analytical methodologies and maintain data quality standards
- Present findings to senior leadership with clear, actionable recommendations
- Stay current with emerging data technologies and federal regulatory changes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in federal/government data analysis or similar regulated environment
- Expertise in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and statistical analysis tools
- Strong understanding of data visualization principles and tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Familiarity with federal data standards (GDPR, HIPAA, FISMA compliance)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance
