Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and validate large-scale datasets from various federal and internal sources to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Develop complex statistical models and predictive analytics to identify trends and support strategic decision-making for agency stakeholders.
- Design and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau, PowerBI, or D3.js to present findings clearly.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into robust data solutions and technical specifications.
- Ensure strict adherence to federal regulations, including NIST cybersecurity standards and OMB guidelines on data management.
- Perform regular data audits and quality assurance checks to maintain compliance with data governance policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 4-6 years of professional experience in data analysis, preferably within the federal government or defense contracting sector.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R for data extraction, manipulation, and statistical analysis.
- Strong experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or QlikView.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance (or higher) is mandatory.
- Deep understanding of data privacy laws (e.g., FERPA, HIPAA) and federal data handling protocols.
