Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large-scale federal datasets using SQL, Python, and advanced statistical methods
- Develop interactive dashboards using Tableau and Power BI for executive briefings
- Ensure compliance with federal data governance standards (FISMA, HIPAA)
- Collaborate with policy teams to translate data insights into actionable recommendations
- Lead quality assurance processes for federal reporting systems
- Present findings to senior government officials and congressional committees
- Maintain secure data environments with zero-compromise protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience with federal data systems and compliance requirements
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and R programming
- Advanced certification in Tableau or Power BI
- Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain one
- Demonstrated experience with geospatial data analysis and visualization
- Strong understanding of federal privacy regulations (CUI, PII handling)
