Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large-scale federal datasets using SQL, Python, and R
- Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations for executive stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with federal data security protocols (FISMA, NIST)
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams on counterterrorism initiatives
- Present findings to senior leadership through concise executive summaries
- Maintain data integrity across federal systems and databases
- Support emergency response operations with real-time data analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience with federal data systems and regulations
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas), and Tableau
- Active Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Familiarity with DHS data ecosystems and reporting frameworks
- Certification in federal compliance (e.g., CIPP/US) a plus
- Demonstrated experience with geospatial analysis tools (ArcGIS)
- Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills
