Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large-scale federal healthcare datasets to identify trends and opportunities
- Develop interactive dashboards using Tableau/Power BI for executive reporting
- Ensure compliance with federal data security protocols (FISMA, HIPAA)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve veteran service delivery metrics
- Present findings to senior leadership through compelling visualizations
- Maintain data integrity across VA's centralized data warehouse systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years experience with federal healthcare datasets (VA, CMS, CDC preferred)
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python/R, and data visualization tools
- FISMA and HIPAA compliance certification required
- Advanced knowledge of statistical analysis and predictive modeling
- Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Experience with federal grant reporting data systems
