Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret complex federal healthcare datasets to identify trends and support strategic initiatives
- Develop automated reporting dashboards using SQL, Python, and Tableau for veteran service metrics
- Ensure compliance with federal data governance standards (HIPAA, FISMA, and VA regulations)
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to translate data insights into actionable recommendations
- Present findings to senior leadership through concise visualizations and narrative reports
- Maintain data quality frameworks and implement continuous improvement processes
- Support federal audits and compliance reviews through meticulous documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of professional data analysis experience in federal/government or regulated healthcare environment
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI)
- Demonstrated experience with large-scale datasets and statistical modeling techniques
- Deep understanding of federal data compliance requirements (HIPAA, FISMA, 21st Century Cures Act)
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to translate complex data into business solutions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder presentations
