Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large-scale federal datasets using SQL, Python, and R to identify trends and patterns
- Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau/Power BI for government stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with federal data security protocols (NIST, FISMA) and privacy regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making processes
- Maintain and optimize data pipelines for federal reporting requirements
- Present findings to senior leadership through clear visualizations and executive summaries
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis with federal/government projects
- Proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and visualization tools
- Familiarity with federal data security standards and compliance frameworks
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance (preference given to cleared candidates)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and big data technologies
