Responsibilities
- Analyze large-scale federal datasets using SQL, Python, and R to identify trends and anomalies
- Develop interactive dashboards and reports for executive stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with FISMA, HIPAA, and other federal data regulations
- Collaborate with policy teams to translate findings into actionable recommendations
- Maintain and optimize data pipelines using ETL tools like Apache Airflow
- Present complex findings to non-technical audiences through compelling visualizations
- Conduct quality assurance checks to maintain data accuracy and integrity
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis with federal datasets
- Proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and data visualization tools
- Knowledge of federal data regulations (FISMA, HIPAA, 21st Century Cures Act)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and big data technologies
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance
