Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large-scale federal datasets using SQL, Python, and advanced statistical methods
- Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau/Power BI to visualize key metrics
- Ensure data compliance with federal regulations including FISMA, HIPAA, and NIST standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and deliver actionable insights
- Present findings to senior stakeholders through executive summaries and data storytelling
- Maintain data integrity through rigorous quality control and validation processes
- Stay current with emerging federal data governance frameworks and analytical technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years experience in data analysis with federal government or regulated industry
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and data visualization tools
- Deep understanding of federal data compliance requirements and security protocols
- Strong statistical analysis skills with ability to translate complex data into business insights
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop)
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present technical concepts to non-technical audiences
