Responsibilities
- Analyze federal healthcare datasets using SQL, Python, and R to identify trends and anomalies
- Create interactive dashboards using Tableau/Power BI for executive stakeholders
- Ensure data compliance with HIPAA, FISMA, and federal reporting standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and KPIs
- Document methodologies and maintain data quality frameworks
- Present findings to senior leadership through concise visual reports
- Support ad-hoc analysis for public health emergencies and policy initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Public Health, or related field
- 3+ years experience with federal healthcare datasets (Medicare/Medicaid preferred)
- Expertise in SQL, Python (Pandas), and statistical analysis tools
- Strong knowledge of data visualization platforms (Tableau/Power BI)
- Familiarity with federal data regulations (HIPAA, FISMA, 21 CFR Part 11)
- Certification in data analytics or public health (e.g., CDA, CPH) preferred
