Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze complex federal datasets using SQL, Python, and R.
- Develop interactive data visualizations and dashboards using Tableau or PowerBI to communicate insights.
- Collaborate with government stakeholders to identify data requirements and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and strict compliance with federal regulations and standards.
- Build predictive models to forecast trends and support policy formulation.
- Prepare detailed reports and executive presentations for senior leadership and clients.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in data analysis, preferably within the federal government or defense sector.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas/NumPy), and data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI).
- Strong understanding of statistical methods, data modeling, and machine learning concepts.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance (if applicable).
