Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret complex federal healthcare datasets to identify trends and inform policy decisions
- Develop interactive dashboards using Tableau/Power BI for executive stakeholders
- Ensure strict compliance with federal data privacy regulations (HIPAA, FISMA)
- Collaborate with IT teams to optimize data collection systems
- Present findings to senior leadership through clear, compelling visualizations
- Maintain accurate documentation of methodologies and data sources
- Support ad-hoc analysis requests for emergency response initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Public Health, or related field
- 3+ years of professional data analysis experience with federal datasets
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and at least one statistical software (R/Python/SAS)
- Expert knowledge of data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI)
- Experience with federal data standards (FIPS, CDISC) and compliance frameworks
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks in high-pressure situations
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain federal security clearance
