Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and validate large-scale federal datasets to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau, PowerBI, or similar tools to communicate key performance indicators to stakeholders.
- Perform statistical analysis and predictive modeling to support policy formulation and program evaluation.
- Conduct research on federal regulations and compliance requirements to ensure data practices align with government standards.
- Prepare detailed reports, summaries, and presentations for federal program managers and executive leadership.
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate data sources and optimize data architecture.
- Maintain documentation of data processes, methodologies, and analysis scripts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the federal or government contracting sector.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, or R for data manipulation and analysis.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or Qlik.
- Familiarity with federal reporting standards (e.g., OMB Circular A-123, FISMA) is highly desirable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance (or equivalent) is required.
