Responsibilities
- Analyze complex federal datasets using SQL, Python, and R to identify security trends and anomalies
- Develop interactive dashboards and reports for senior leadership using Tableau/Power BI
- Ensure compliance with federal data standards (FISMA, NIST) and security protocols
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to support border security initiatives
- Document methodologies and maintain data integrity pipelines
- Present findings to stakeholders through executive briefings and technical documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in federal/government data analysis roles
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (Python/R)
- Expert knowledge of data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI)
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain one
- Familiarity with federal data privacy regulations (HIPAA, FERPA)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
