Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Processing: Gather, clean, and validate large, complex datasets from multiple sources to ensure high data quality for analysis.
- Advanced Analytics: Perform statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and trend forecasting to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational opportunities.
- Visualization: Develop intuitive dashboards and interactive visualizations using tools like Tableau or Power BI to communicate complex findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Reporting: Generate comprehensive reports and briefings for senior leadership and government clients, translating raw data into clear narratives.
- Compliance: Ensure all data handling processes adhere to federal regulations, security protocols, and agency-specific guidelines.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams (engineers, subject matter experts) to define data requirements and optimize business processes.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the federal government or defense contracting sector.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL for complex querying, Python or R for data manipulation, and experience with ETL processes.
- Visualization Tools: Strong hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik Sense.
- Clearance: Must be a U.S. Citizen and eligible for a Top Secret security clearance (or willing to undergo the background investigation process).
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to diverse audiences.
