Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large-scale federal datasets to inform policy decisions and program effectiveness
- Develop and maintain automated data pipelines using SQL, Python, and R for real-time reporting
- Ensure strict adherence to federal data standards, FISMA compliance, and privacy regulations
- Present findings to senior leadership through interactive dashboards and executive briefings
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to standardize data collection methodologies
- Identify trends in fiscal data to support risk assessment and strategic planning
- Document all analytical processes and maintain comprehensive audit trails
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of professional experience in federal data analysis or compliance-focused analytics
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas/NumPy), and visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI)
- Deep understanding of federal reporting requirements (FISMA, OMB guidelines)
- Experience with large-scale data warehousing and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)
