Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large-scale federal datasets using SQL, Python, and advanced statistical methods
- Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau/Power BI for senior leadership
- Ensure compliance with federal data security protocols (NIST, FISMA) and privacy regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data-driven solutions for agency challenges
- Present complex findings to non-technical stakeholders through clear visualizations
- Maintain and optimize data pipelines for federal reporting systems
- Support audit preparation and documentation of data methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years experience in data analysis with federal/government projects
- Expert proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and visualization tools
- Familiarity with federal data standards (FIPS, GSA schedules) and compliance frameworks
- Active Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in high-stakes environments
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS GovCloud, Azure Government) preferred
