Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large-scale healthcare and veteran benefit datasets using SQL, Python, and R
- Develop automated data pipelines and visualization dashboards for leadership reporting
- Ensure compliance with federal data standards (FISMA, HIPAA, and VA-specific protocols)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data-driven solutions for veteran services
- Present findings to senior leadership through executive-level data narratives
- Maintain data integrity through rigorous quality control and validation processes
- Support federal audit preparation and documentation of analytical methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of professional data analysis experience with federal data systems
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas/NumPy), and data visualization tools
- Active Secret security clearance or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Familiarity with VA healthcare data systems (CDW, VistA) preferred
- Experience with federal reporting requirements and compliance frameworks
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy
