Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large-scale federal datasets using SQL, Python, and R to identify trends and patterns
- Create interactive dashboards and visualizations for executive decision-makers using Tableau/Power BI
- Ensure compliance with federal data regulations (FISMA, HIPAA) and maintain rigorous data integrity standards
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to develop data-driven strategies for border security operations
- Present findings to senior leadership through concise executive summaries and data briefings
- Implement data quality protocols and automate reporting processes to enhance operational efficiency
- Support ad-hoc analysis requests during critical incidents and high-priority investigations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of professional data analysis experience with federal datasets or government systems
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas/Numpy), and statistical analysis tools
- Expert knowledge of data visualization platforms (Tableau, Power BI, D3.js)
- Familiarity with federal data security protocols and compliance frameworks
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain one within 30 days
