Responsibilities
- Analyze federal healthcare data using SQL, Python, and R to identify trends and performance metrics
- Generate weekly reports on veteran service utilization and program effectiveness
- Ensure compliance with federal data security standards (HIPAA, FISMA)
- Collaborate with VA leadership to develop data-driven improvement strategies
- Maintain and optimize data warehouses for real-time analytics
- Present findings to stakeholders using Tableau and Power BI visualizations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of federal government data analysis experience
- Proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas), and statistical modeling
- Familiarity with VA systems or healthcare data standards
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain one
- Experience with weekly reporting cycles and deadline-driven environments
