Responsibilities
- Conduct Advanced Data Analysis: Collect, clean, and analyze large-scale federal datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Generate Strategic Reports: Create comprehensive visualizations and reports using Tableau, PowerBI, or SQL to support agency objectives.
- Ensure Compliance: Adhere to federal regulations, security protocols (e.g., FedRAMP), and data privacy standards.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with program managers and technical teams to define data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
- Maintain Data Integrity: Develop and implement data governance policies to ensure accuracy and consistency across all federal systems.
- Support System Optimization: Assist in the maintenance and improvement of data pipelines and reporting architectures.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the federal government or defense contracting sector.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or SAS is essential. Experience with Tableau or PowerBI is a strong plus.
- Certifications: Active Secret or Top Secret clearance preferred; willingness to obtain clearance is required.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical data for non-technical audiences.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to manage high volumes of data with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
