Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize electronic health record systems for veteran patients
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, VA regulations, and federal healthcare standards
- Implement FHIR and HL7 protocols for seamless health data exchange
- Train clinical staff on health information management best practices
- Lead system integration projects for multi-facility healthcare networks
- Conduct data audits and quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of experience with electronic health record systems (EHR)
- Federal security clearance eligibility (background check required)
- Proficiency in FHIR, HL7, and healthcare data standards
- VA VistA system certification preferred
- Strong project management skills with PMP or equivalent
