Responsibilities
- Maintain and secure electronic health records in compliance with HIPAA and VA regulations
- Conduct quality audits on medical documentation and coding accuracyCollaborate with healthcare providers to resolve information discrepancies
- Implement new health information systems and process improvements
- Train staff on privacy protocols and record management procedures
- Prepare reports for compliance audits and performance metrics

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management or related field
- RHIA or RHIT certification required (CCA acceptable)
- Minimum 3 years' experience in healthcare documentation

- Knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS and CPT coding standards
- Ability to obtain and maintain VA security clearance
