Responsibilities
- Oversee the administration, maintenance, and security of federal IT systems and network infrastructure.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal regulations, including NIST 800-53, FISMA, and OMB guidance.
- Design and implement cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive data against unauthorized access.
- Provide advanced technical troubleshooting and support to federal stakeholders and agency leadership.
- Lead Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to modernize legacy systems and integrate cloud technologies.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for IT vulnerabilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal or government IT environments.
- Active Top Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one is required.
- Strong proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and virtualization technologies.
- Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions such as Okta or SailPoint.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder reporting.
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
