Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure network infrastructure for federal systems
- Lead cybersecurity incident response and threat mitigation efforts
- Develop and maintain IT policies compliant with federal regulations (FISMA, NIST)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system integration and modernization
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments
- Provide technical guidance on cloud migration strategies
- Manage vendor relationships for IT service delivery
- Mentor junior staff on cybersecurity best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of IT infrastructure experience with federal systems
- Active Security+ CE certification and CISSP preferred
- Proficiency in AWS/Azure cloud environments and DevOps tools
- Expert knowledge of FISMA compliance frameworks
- Demonstrated experience with incident response (CSIRT)
- Ability to obtain and maintain federal security clearance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
