Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain federal IT infrastructure during weekend operational hours
- Provide Tier-2 technical support for veterans and healthcare staff
- Implement cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive veteran data
- Document system incidents and create comprehensive technical reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system updates and projects
- Ensure compliance with federal IT regulations and VA policies
- Train staff on new technologies and system enhancements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of enterprise IT support experience
- Active Security+ or equivalent cybersecurity certification
- Experience with Windows Server administration and Active Directory
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts (Sat-Sun)
- Familiarity with federal IT security frameworks (NIST, FISMA)
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain federal clearance
