Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the agency's local area network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN).
- Implement and monitor security measures to protect federal information systems and data.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for federal employees and systems.
- Conduct regular system audits and compliance checks to meet federal standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to upgrade hardware and software systems.
- Document network configurations and technical procedures for internal reference.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Active Secret Security Clearance or ability to obtain one.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in federal IT environments.
- Proficiency in networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and hardware troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of federal compliance standards such as FISMA and FedRAMP.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
