Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain complex IT systems and software applications to support state operations.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
- Lead technical projects from conception through deployment, ensuring adherence to deadlines.
- Ensure system integrity, security, and compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow efficiency and user experience.
- Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers and analysts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Systems Analysis or Software Engineering.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Java, Python, or .NET technologies.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is highly preferred.
- Proven ability to obtain and maintain a State of Texas security clearance.
