Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the city's internal network and server environments.
- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for city department staff.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state cybersecurity standards and data privacy regulations.
- Design, implement, and maintain IT solutions to improve operational efficiency.
- Monitor system performance and perform regular maintenance to prevent downtime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute technology projects on time and within budget.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in IT systems administration.
- Strong proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
- Experience working in a government or large-scale corporate environment is highly preferred.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+ or Cisco CCNA are a strong plus.
