Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain NIST-compliant cybersecurity frameworks across federal systems
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on critical infrastructure
- Lead incident response coordination during security breaches and cyberattacks
- Develop security policies and procedures aligned with FISMA and CMMC standards
- Manage identity and access control systems using Privileged Access Management (PAM)
- Collaborate with federal agencies on threat intelligence sharing and mitigation strategies
- Maintain documentation for audit compliance and security posture reporting
Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI security clearance (mandatory)
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in IT security with federal/government sector experience
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or CompTIA Security+
- Expertise in risk assessment frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)
- Proficiency in SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar) and network security tools
- Demonstrated experience with incident response protocols (NIST SP 800-61)
