Responsibilities
- Safeguard federal systems against cyber threats using NIST frameworks
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Implement security protocols for cloud and hybrid infrastructures
- Manage incident response and disaster recovery operations
- Develop security awareness training programs for federal staff
- Ensure compliance with FISMA and CUI regulations
- Collaborate with DHS cybersecurity task forces
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or IT-related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in IT security with federal systems experience
- Active Security+ CE certification (or CISSP)
- Knowledge of DoD RMF and NIST SP 800-53
- Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and cloud security
- Ability to obtain and maintain Secret clearance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
