Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor advanced intrusion detection/prevention systems
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on federal networks
- Develop and maintain security incident response protocols
- Ensure compliance with FISMA, NIST, and DHS security standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on security architecture
- Generate comprehensive security reports for leadership review
- Manage access control systems and user authentication protocols
Qualifications
- Top Secret security clearance (TS/SCI required)
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in federal IT security roles
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CEH certification
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Experience with Windows/Linux system hardening
- Knowledge of CMMC frameworks and DoD requirements
- Ability to obtain and maintain DHS suitability clearance
