Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain network security protocols across federal systems
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Manage incident response for cyber threats
- Develop security policies compliant with NIST and FISMA standards
- Collaborate with cross-agency cybersecurity task forces
- Train personnel on security best practices
- Monitor security alerts using SIEM tools
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years experience in federal IT security
- Security+ CE or CISSP certification required
- Experience with CIS Controls and NIST frameworks
- Active Secret security clearance
- Knowledge of FedRAMP and CUI regulations
- Proficiency in security tools (Splunk, Qualys, Tenable)
- Ability to obtain Top Secret clearance post-hire
