Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain NIST-compliant cybersecurity frameworks across federal systems
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on classified networks
- Develop incident response protocols for cyber threats and data breaches
- Ensure compliance with FISMA, CUI, and FedRAMP security requirements
- Lead security awareness training programs for federal personnel
- Monitor and analyze security logs using SIEM platforms (Splunk, ArcSight)
- Coordinate with federal agencies on security incident remediation
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- Active Secret security clearance (must obtain Top Secret if not held)
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 3+ years experience in federal IT security compliance
- Certifications: CISSP, Security+, or CompTIA CySA+
- Proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, and cloud security (AWS/Azure)
- Experience with FedRAMP moderate/high impact systems
- Knowledge of CUI handling procedures
