Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain federal IT infrastructure including servers, networks, and cloud platforms
- Implement cybersecurity measures to protect sensitive veteran data
- Provide technical support and training to staff on VA systems
- Develop and document IT policies and procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system upgrades and projects
- Ensure compliance with FISMA and NIST standards
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot technical issues
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management
- Federal security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification
- Experience with federal IT systems and compliance frameworks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
