Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain federal IT systems including EHR platforms
- Ensure compliance with FISMA and NIST security protocols
- Provide technical support to 500+ healthcare staff
- Implement cybersecurity measures for sensitive veteran data
- Coordinate system upgrades and vendor integrations
- Document IT policies and procedures
- Train staff on new technology implementations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years federal IT infrastructure experience
- Active Security+ CE certification
- Expertise in Windows Server and Active Directory
- Familiarity with VA VistA EHR systems preferred
- Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance
- Strong problem-solving and documentation skills
