Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure IT systems supporting critical homeland security missions
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing for federal networks
- Develop incident response protocols and cybersecurity frameworks
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to enhance national cybersecurity posture
- Manage cloud infrastructure and ensure compliance with FedRAMP standards
- Provide technical guidance to leadership on emerging cyber threats
- Document system architecture and security protocols per federal guidelines
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 3 years' experience in federal IT systems administration
- Active CISSP, Security+, or CompTIA Security+ certification required
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and network security protocols
- Experience with FedRAMP compliance frameworks and NIST standards
- Ability to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance
- Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
